June 28–July 3, Istanbul – The International Society for Law and Literature (ISLL) is pleased to share the Call for Papers for the Special Workshop “Narrative Rationality, Identity and Law”, to be held within the XXIX World Congress of the International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy (IVR), taking place in Istanbul in 2026.
The workshop, coordinated by José Manuel Aroso Linhares (UCILeR and ISLL), Karolina M. Cern, and Bartosz Wojciechowski, invites contributions that explore the role of narrative in shaping legal rationality and identity. It aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue at the intersection of legal theory, philosophy, and the humanities, with particular attention to how narrative practices inform legal understanding, interpretation, and judgment.
Scholars interested in participating are encouraged to submit abstracts in accordance with the guidelines provided by the IVR Congress.
